The WOMEN of Sex and the City

Carrie Bradshaw, sex columnist and the main character of the show. Carrie is obsessed with labels and the pursuit of finding love. Though she remains focused on living the single and fabulous life, Carrie ultimately yearns to someday fall in love. In the meantime Carrie continues to amp up her closet filled to the brim with Manolo’s (did I mention she’s the most stylish of the bunch?) and wine and dine with her lovely ladies.

The Apartment

Living in a rent-controlled apartment big enough to house her overflowing wardrobe, Carrie’s apartment feels much like Carrie herself. Cluttered and unorganized with a quaint and comfortable feeling, Carrie doesn’t focus on decorating her apartment as she has more important fish to fry (ie. her column, her closet, and her men).

Charlotte York, the Park Avenue Princess. Though she works in an art gallery, Charlotte’s main objective is to get married and begin the family she’s been dreaming about sooner rather than later. We can always count on Charlotte for her feminine charm and timeless style.

The Apartment

A palace perfect for a princess, Charlotte’s real estate located on the Upper Eastside is enough to make any grown woman cry. Fit for a photospread in Architectural Digest, Charlotte’s place is a little bit modern and a little big majestic.

Dine

Pastis is the standard lunching location for the girls, but that isn’t the only place. With 4 very different and busy lives, the girls go wherever they can get a table and discuss the latest in gossip.

THE designer these girls carry

Though these girls each have very different and individual styles, one designer remains through and through: FENDI. Known for incredibly iconic handbags, each lady has at least one – and if you want to be like one of them I suggest you buy your baguette bag now!

Miranda Hobbes, the firey (both physically and expressively) redhead of the bunch. Career oriented and focused primarily on making partner within her law firm, Miranda doesn’t spend nearly as much time worrying about life and love much like her girlfriends.

The Apartment

Simple, elegant, and the result of a successful career marks Miranda’s Upper Westside Digs. Always organized with a slight edge, Miranda’s place is practical with just the right amount of flair.

Samantha Jones, the sexual deviant of the bunch. A power house with her own PR Firm, Samantha knows what (or who) she wants out of life and will do whatever it takes to get it. Samantha’s bold, flashy, and isn’t afraid to take risks.

The Apartment

Trendy, flashy, and located in the most up-and-coming part of town, Samantha’s home in the Meat Packing district suits her if only for the neighborhood name. Modern and spaciously open, the focal point of Samantha’s apartment is the bed – located smack dab in the middle of the apartment.

Work

Carrie – sex columnist for the New York Star, Carrie’s work is anyone’s dream. Being able to write about her own fabulous life experiences is what helps Carrie pay the bills.

Miranda – Powerhouse partner at a New York City law firm, Miranda has remained focused on her career since graduating college.

Charlotte – Manager of an Art Gallery, though she someday hoped to own her own place, Charlotte’s career goal was more set on becoming a mother.

Samantha – Owner of Samantha Jones PR, her connections to the socialite world allowed the ladies to attend every hottest bar and restaurant opening in the city.
