Capital Club the

417 E Pine St, Seattle, WA 98122

Delicious tapas on special with an outdoor deck for your dining pleasure, Capitol Club is perfect addition of flavor to your happy hour list. I personally enjoy the moroccan feeling which always reminds me of my travels to Spain, leaving you to feel almost as if you’ve left the country for a drink. Happy Hour is from 5-7, and 5-close on Sundays.

Welcome to the Chapel – be sure to avoid Chapel on the weekends when it is overrun by Belltown Blondies.

Chapel Bar

1600 Melrose Avenue Seattle, WA 98122

The appeal of Chapel has faded with many, but the martini list the size of manhattan is what keeps me coming back for more. From 5-8 martini’s are only $5, and for once Chapel is finally a place you can go without wondering whether or not you’ll be able to find a seat.

West Five

4539 California Ave Sw, Seattle, WA 98116

If you’re feeling nostalgic then make your way to West Five out in West Seattle. From 4-6 you’ll be able to enjoy $4 cocktails with your sloppy joe’s, chilly dogs, and buddy holly playing in the background. Though it may be a little kitschy, West Five is inexpensive and a hell of a lot of fun.

Licorous – for the cheap foodies out there.

Licorous

928 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122

For that mid week happy hour (also known as Tuesday through Thursday) for all you foodies out there, consider wandering over to Licorous on 12th Ave. From 5-7 and again from 10-12 appies are only $2!! I personally recommend the pretzel dots – a delightful treat that surely wont break the bank.

Happy Hour Madness!

Cactus Restaurant

2820 Alki Ave Sw, Seattle, WA 98116

With 3 locations to serve you (Alki, Madison, and Kirkland) Cactus is surely a happy hour to add to your roster. From 3-5 with food AND drink specials ($6 nachos! $5 sangria!), Cactus is a great place to enjoy happy hour in the sun (each location has outdoor seating), so get there early before everyone else does!

Vermillion – I promise if you walk PAST the art you’ll find your cheap alcohol.

Vermillion

1508 11th Ave Seattle, WA 98112

Newly discovered and quickly becoming a favorite watering hole of mine, Vermillion is the perfect place to enjoy art and cheap drinks. Tucked away on 11th right next to Barca you have to look closely for it, otherwise you might miss it. With a nondescript entrance leading into an art gallery and quaint bar tucked away in the back, Vermillion hosts happy hour from 4-7 lending a dollar off wine. Though this deal may not seem like much, I recommend going for their house wine, normally only $4! $3 wine, art, and great company makes this place a must.

Barolo – make sure to get there early or you’ll be sorry!

Barolo Ristorante

1940 Westlake Ave, Seattle, WA 98101

I know Barolo keeps coming up in the list of favorites, but with classy cuisine on a broke boys budget Barolo is destined for rave reviews. From 3-630 and from 10 to close Barolo has half off appetizers and great deals on wine as well. I’ve learned that if you come during happy hour to find the bar packed to the gills, batting your eyelashes a few times will allow happy hour in the dining room as well.
