Lately Emerald Dandy has had meat on the mind... Burger Meat to be exact. On my current burger kick I've done plenty of research to determine the best of the best in Seattle. From flashy to trashy and all things in between, take a look at what I've found.

Best BBQ Burger (and then some)...

Goes to Deluxe Bar & Grill on Broadway. Not only do I love the Burgers at Deluxe, but the atmosphere (Burger Wednesday’s bring out the good looking people), the accessories (cheese fries and onion rings), and the RC Cola all add to the reasons I keep coming back for more.

Best All American...

The Dirty Bird: Red Robin. We’ve ALL been there, and though it may not be anything spectacular, it’s a reliable classic we can always depend on for our burger fix. Red Robin got it’s start in Seattle, so you absolutely have to head to the original on Eastlake.

Best Yuppie Burger...

Joey’s with their Cheeseburger Sliders. Enjoy the atmosphere of the Laguna Beach-esque crowd while feasting on these delightful little morsels. They’re bite sized and jam packed full of flavor. Be forewarned, in its yuppie nature, the sliders are served with potato chips… so opt for a side of fries (which are quite possibly some of my favorite fries of all time).

Best "Secret" Sauce...

Red Mill Burgers- located both in Phinney and Interbay is home to the best burgers with an added kick. Voted by GQ AND Oprah as a “burger you MUST have before you die,” these sources are seriously telling the truth. Again, as I’m a sucker for the burger accessories (fries and shakes), Red Mill aims to please. Though I go for the burgers, the chocolate-orange shake gets me every time.

Best Bar Burger...

Goes to Linda’s Tavern on the Hill. Whether it be the sliders or the burgers, they always come out as perfection. Out for a night of drinking? This is the perfect place to start (or end) your evening. If you’re looking to spend a night out on the town, opt for the sliders… nobody likes a food coma.

Best Post Drinking Burger...

Had a long night out of debaucherous fun? Head to Dick’s before 2am and get yourself a burger fix. With unrealistically cheap prices and ridiculously good eats, Dick’s is the ultimate burger feast. Remember to save your dollar bills before you go, as Dick’s is a cash only joint.
