These here are some tough times, Son. As much as we all hate to admit it, we're probably all going to have to start changing our habits a bit and saving whatever money we do have (ahem, little as that may be). But how on Earth do we do that when we live in one of the most expensive cities in the U.S?? Boston, I love you, but why are you oh so expensive? Let's all help each other save some money, OK? Otherwise we may all need to move to Arkansas or something. I hear the cost of living is a little more reasonable down there. How do you save money in Boston?? Is it possible??
I always knew that Target has some fabulous deals and is generally cheaper than the drugs stores of Boston. But it wasn’t until recently that I realized “oh my God, I save SO much money by shopping at Target!”
It’s almost ridiculous how much cheaper things are at Target (make-up, shampoo, cleaning supplies, Luna bars!). Forget CVS and Walgreens, I will gladly make a trek to Target to save a bit of cash.

Drink Beer Instead of Expensive Martinis!
Don’t even tell me you can’t find some kind of inexpensive beer you’ll like at Sunset. There are way too many options for you to complain about the lack of martini.
Sunset Bar and Tap offers tons and tons of beers at really good prices. So you can get way more bang (hehe) for your buck. Instead of going out for pricey martinis, it may be time for you to start drinking beer. And inexpensive beer at that. At places like Sunset, you don’t have to go so low as to drink Keystone (hello, college, no thanks). You can drink GOOD and inexpensive beer. Fine with me!

Sure, the aisles are small, and there are random crates piled with products throughout the store. But when everyone over 70 shops there, you know you’re onto something: Market Basket has the cheapest prices around!

Entertain at home!
This is my favorite money-saver. You get all of the fun of going out (socializing with friends, drinking) in the comforts of your own home. Watch the Sunday game, throw a pot-luck dinner party, or just sit around and do nothing with some great music on in the background. And drinks, of course.

Boston
I love cupcakes, the color pink, writing, technology, blogging, trying to learn Japanese, and walking from one end of Boston to the other.
I make it my goal to try one new thing in Boston every week, but sometimes I find things I love so much, I just can't tear myself away from them.
