The 306,000-square-foot structure can hold more than 12,000 people, and has hosted, in addition to hockey, many high profile concerts and other events, including the music of Martina McBride, the Police, and shows by the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. The arena lies near Harrisburg, just below Swatara Creek Park.
