How do YOU remember the things you need to remember?
So. This evening I'm going to my friends house to shoot her 3 month old baby. Uh duh...with my camera. (Seriously...you really thought I was going to shoot a baby? Wow, sicko.) Anyway...I loaded my car this morning with various odds and ends I will need for the photos along with some other necessities. As I'm tooling about town this afternoon I realized I FORGOT MY CAMERA. Ethwiny=Angry. I makes me think I need a better way to remember the things I need to remember. So, fellow g-spotters. Help Me! Give me some Ideas!
List
Hand written by me.
Inevitably shoved in pocket or hidden corner of my bag.
Outlook Reminder!
My life (and memory) saver at work. I wouldn’t remember to do half of what I’m supposed to be doing with out my reminders!
Muh Blackberry
Alarms, tasks with notifications, my hand written list shoved into the case as I will surely be obsessively looking at my phone…
What a HELP my blackberry can be!
VERY OBVIOUS LOCATION PLACEMENT!
I tend to keep things in the same general space. And if I need to…say…take something with me to work I put it VERY OBVIOUSLY close to the front door.
Or…if I don’t want to forget my lunch leftovers in the office fridge I put my car keys in with the container.
Hand-Written!
I prefer paper lists, but if I’m worried about losing them (which happens a lot), I’ll make notes on my hand. Just try to avoid writing down potentially embarrassing things like “buy hemroid cream” or “call back bill collector.”
