Support Relay for Life of Lebanon County!
I choose to believe that someday there will be a cure. And until that day I will work in whatever way I can to support the research, the education, and the organizations that work hard to find that cure. That's why I'm participating in my local Relay for Life event.

What is Relay for Life?
Why it’s the American Cancer Society’s signature event!
For 24 hours teams of people take turns walking around the track of a local school or on a path at a local park. Ideally at least one member of the team should be present and walking at all times during that 24 hour period.
(So make sure you are a member of a pretty big team or prepare to be super tired!)
Fundraising ...
don’t be scurred … it’s pretty simple.
The recommended amount to raise is $100.00. But that is just the starting point. Raising less is ok. Raising more is ok. (Well, MORE than ok but who wants the “less” to feel bad? Not me!)
The only required amount is the $10.00 individual registration fee.
R & K is a GREAT place to use for fundraising! They do all the hard work. All you have to do is sell, sell, sell!

Luminaria
The American Cancer Society Relay For LifeĀ® offers the opportunity to remember people who have lost their lives to cancer and honor those who have won their battle. One of the most moving parts of the event is the Luminaria Ceremony of Hope. As the sun sets over campsites and darkness falls, the night is brightened by the glow of illuminated bags called luminaria, each of which has a special meaning. Some celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer and have lived to tell their stories. “Many remember the lives of those who have been lost to this disease. All represent someone special who has been profoundly affected by cancer and the family and friends who continue to fight back in their honor.”
