Tasty, funky and very REAL. Tea, coffee and yes crumpets…hot right off the griddle. Don’t miss the scones with fresh fruit jam. What a treat! And talk about tea there are an abundance of choices for all tastes from Irish Breakast to The Crumpet Shop’s own special blend…and it’s a bottomless cuppa.

Flying Fish in Action

For the visual learner…. Here they are in action!

Hint: for the single ladies, most of the employees at this famous spot are cuuuuties… I just can’t imagine that their cologne covers up the salmon smell!

This is a secret favorite of mine… Located on the bottom level of the Market (which is not as crowded). This magic shop is full of fun toys, tricks, fortune tellers, and fun posters… Magically drop in here for your own entertainment, and on the way out pick something up for the kiddies or for your niece or nephew… and you will have some happy campers!

Hint for the Tourists:

When talking or asking about the market, make sure you say Pike Place and not Pikes Place… You will sound like a tourist… Plus, Pike Street doesn’t own the market!

I was in Seattle on Valentine’s Day this year and the flower shops had lines (of men) down the block! Loved the market though.

I am from Seattle and I love this guide… All this talk about Pike Place is really making me homesick! Good thing I am going home next week to Seattle for a wedding! I think I will pick up some flowers for a belated Mother’s Day gift! Thanks for the guide Ali!
