Your Guide To People Watching

Watch People Eat

This can either be really entertaining or really disgusting. People eat differently and there is no need to judge (sometimes). When you people watching occurs, so much can be learned about a person.

To be observed are:
The nibblers
The devourers
The swallowers
The shovelers
The finger lickers

People Watch At A Gallery

Plop yourself on a bench and watch people observe art. Sometimes they cross their arms, trip on their own two feet, waddle to the next painting, or become agitated at those around them.

People Watch At The Park

The park is the best place to people watch. This is one of the many places where you can watch without looking like a pervert or a psycho.

During your lunch break, head over to the park and be entertained.

People Watch At Work

Come on, the people that you spend your entire day around have to be interesting! Why do they get on your nerves? Whether we realize it or not, we people watch here ALL the time!

They May Strike A Pose

If someone catches you staring, they may just pose for you. If this happens, a smile and a nod will suffice.

Just Look The Other Way And Whistle

If you’re caught watching someone that may not like being watched, just start whistling. Sometimes it’s best to turn your head or start walking away.

Let’s not call the cops here.

People Are Strange. Just Accept It.

I don’t know why people do what they do. I have no answer for this. What I do know, is that they are strange and THAT is what makes people watching so much fun!

Watch People On The Train

This is one of my favorite places to people watch. You are forced to sit across or beside strangers. Most of the time you will never speak to them, only watch their interesting mannerisms and strange antics. Love it!

People Watch At Thrift Stores

This is another hot spot for people watching. For some reason, all of the elderly people go to the Brown Elephant in Chicago to sit on the used sofas and chairs to read the used books lying around.

People Watch In The City

Any city can be interesting if you’re people watching. There is never a dull moment in the city. Street artists, crazy people, and dumb people alike are always entertaining!

People Watch With A Friend

If you have a friend with you, then maybe you won’t feel so bad laughing at people alone. Friends bring out the inner dialogue you might have been wanting to share, but never could.

People Watch At The Bar

Watch people watch TV. I like to sit at the bar with my Stella and see how goofy people look when they get excited about a baseball team making a home run.

Funniest thing ever to watch is when they are calm, then they suddenly jump up, spill their drinks, and slap the guy’s back next door.

Don't Stare!

Staring is so rude! If this happens, you will look like the picture above. I know, it’s hard not to.

Resist The Urge To Point At Them

I am the worst at this. When I people watch, sometimes there is a moment to point.

For instance, if someone is injured or sick. Then help may be needed. However, pointing can be a bit awkward. Let’s keep the finger inside the hand please.

Stare At Your Cat

You’re cat won’t mind if you stare at him!
