Seattle is a beautiful city with many parks and outdoor places where one can relax and drink in the culture of the area. Whether you are a visitor or a resident Seattleite, be sure to check out these outdoor spots.

Olympic Sculpture Park

Nestled among the highly trafficked roads of Seattle’s west side lies an oasis of peace and beauty.  It is an outdoor museum called Olympic Sculpture Park.  Marked by oversized metal and wooden works of art, the park itself is an object of beauty.  From it you can view the city, or take a seat on the benches along Elliott Bay and gaze upon the water.
The park is located on a nine-acre space formerly used as an industrial site.  OSP is a fairly new attraction; according to the Seattle Art Museum’s website, OSP turned two years old on January 20th of this year.
The main entrance to OSP is located at 2901 Western Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121. It opens thirty minutes before sunrise and closes thirty minutes after sunset.  Admission is free.
