Pearl Jam - Corduroy
Another of 09’s headliners will be sure to live up to their hype. I saw Pearl Jam back in 1998 and it still stands as one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended.
Cake - Never There
There is so much about Cake that I like. They were way cool when being way cool was uncool. And now that being way cool is cool again they are at the top of their game.
The Walkmen - In the New Year
My favorite song by one of my favorite bands, The Walkmen. If you needed more of a reason to hit up Outside Lands, it is because you’ll see bands like this performing like this. My only complaint is the shortness of the video.
Devendra Banhart - In the Summertime
I love Devendra and his cover of “In the Summertime” from last year’s fest only cements his awesomeness.

Could not get myself to face the crowd this year, so thanks for the guide! I will watch YouTube clips and it’ll be better than potentially being trampled and then cussing out my fellow Bay Area dwellers. I was glad that I made it to the ballet and opera at Stern Grove and I will get my butt to Treasure Island in October!
