What would you do if you had more free time?
I don't know about you, but my schedule is usually jam-packed with things to do. At one point I was balancing three jobs and a 15-credit class load! Now that I have a tid bit of more free time, I started thinking about how I'd fill that up - because I can't just relax. That got me wondering...if you had the time, what new hobbies or skills would you add to your schedule?
Learn to speak another language
I’d love to learn another language, in particular, French. It’s not that I plan on traveling to France any time soon, though I’d never pass up the opportunity to! It would just be nice to understand my grandma (she’s from Quebec.) Also, who doesn’t sound sexy when speaking French?!
Travel
I need to do more of it! I’ve been all over the U.S., but I really need to get outside of the country. The top places on my list? Italy, New Zealand and Madrid. I also collect postcards so I’m really killing two birds with one stone here.

Learn Japanese!
I’ve been wanting to learn Japanese FOREVER, but just can’t seem to find the time. If I had more free time, I would learn to be a fluent speaker and reader of Japanese. And maybe turn into a dragon?

Dance my heart out!
Learning to dance would be all sorts of fabulous, but ballroom dancing…oh man! I’m sure I’d never use that skill, except maybe at my wedding. But it’d be damn cool to randomly bust out some awesome moves.
Skydive
Okay, I realize that this isn’t really a skill or a hobby. At least an affordable one. But man I’d love to jump out of a plan (with parachute please!) What a thrill!
COOK!
I actualy share all of the same desires listed about, but cooking is a huge one! I spend HOURS catching up on TIVO’ed cooking shows and then print up the recipes online, cut them out and place them in my cute little recipe box- the problem is, unless I make it an “event” I never have time to do it!
I believe inside, I’m the next Giada DeLaurentis.
Volunteer
Before a full time job I always found the time to volunteer. But, once the 9-5+ set in, it became impossible to commit something on a regular basis because I never know when I will have to stay at work later than planned. If I had more time, I would definitely commit to volunteer work – probably for an organization that helps the homeless or the environment.
