The name of the game is board. Bored is the name of the game.
Tell me (and the world) your most favorite-est board game from when you were a kid! Or, hey, the games you're still playing!
Clue
It was Colonel Mustard in the Library with the lead pipe? Right?
Clue MASTER DETECTIVE
Come on, seriously. MORE supects? MORE Rooms? MORE WEAPONS?
Awwww yay-ah. I was a Clue Master Detective Junkie…
Hotels
Monopoly. Except cooler and rockin’ the 3D pieces.
Spank the Berry Bird
OOOOOOO…that dirty Berry Bird! Gotta love the violence of being the first to spank that nasty purple guy!
Operation
My teeth still rattle when I think about this game. Darn that writers cramp, water on the knee, and butterflies in the stomach!
Max Backtalk
If anyone out there has a working Max Backtalk I would be interested in discussing a transfer of ownership to lil’ old moi. Regrettably I let battery juice ruin mine. What’s better than a game that records noises (aka fart noises) to use in play.
Mr Mouth
I just found this sucker at Five Below for..uh…five bucks! A trip to my nanny’s was never without a rousing game (or few) of Mr. Mouth
Hungry Hungry Hippos!
So much fun!! Until we woke up our dad at 6am on a Saturday… it was SO LOUD!!
I was a fan of the classics like Parchessi and Uno but one of my favorites was YIPES! It was the game “Trouble” only you wre a monster and not just a little red peg.
Grape Escape
What I love about Grape Escape (and other similar games, like Mouse Trap) is that it takes FOREVER to set up the thing and no more than 15 minutes to play through the game. I also think the Squish ’Em, Squash ’Em, Squoosh ’Em Game was the beginning of my life long love affair with wine. I mean, what else do you do with smooshed grapes?
Guess Who
I don’t even know why I loved this game so much. Maybe because the only time I could play it was when I was at day camp. They always had the cool games that I didn’t have at home.

Camp Hill
I like bunnies, tucking my jeans inside of my boots, being in warm places, Shooter Jennings, Coca-Cola, photos taken in photo booths, boys who are made of 'snakes and snails and puppy dog tails', and recycling paper.
