They're Sexy. They're Bad. They're The Boys You LOVE to HATE!

From serial killers to the undead, who doesn't love a little crazy now and then? TV and movies are leaving the awkward and mangled behind and bringing in these heartthrobs to play their baddest of the bad. Maybe you love to hate them, or you hate to love them. Whatever the case, who's your favorite bad boy?

The Serial Killers

Zachary Quinto in Heroes

Widget_bhel6lrdlbwpncyp66m_xw

Most of you know Zachary from his role in Star Trek, but before he was aboard the RSS Enterprise, he was slicing open heads and stealing brains as Sylar in Heroes.

Christian Bale in American Psycho

Widget_a6k_rayn1fg7p5kad7k6h4

Patrick Bateman: by day a wealthy New York investment banking executive, by night his alternate psychopathic ego comes out to play. Fueled by materialism and envy, Bale’s hate for the world gets more intense and goes on a murdering spree.

Skeet Ulrich in Scream

I had to include him and not just because he looks like Johnny Depp. Basing his murders off of what he learned from old scary movies, Billy targeted tried to kill his girlfriend Sydney after killing her family and friends.

Michael C. Hall in Dexter

Some argue that Dexter isn’t a bad guy; he’s killing people who have already killed. Whatever your moral ethics, Dexter technically is the bad guy. I feel weird rooting on the bad guy, but the line between good and bad is obviously not as black and white as it once was.

Julius McMahon in Charmed

Let’s see, as Cole Turner he tried to rule the underworld, kill his girlfriend’s sisters and try to get his girlfriend to give birth to a demon. Sounds bad to me! Luckily he looked hot during all the plotting and scheming!

The Superhero-ish

James Franco in Spiderman

Consumed with anger and is obsessed with making sure his best friend Peter Parker pays for killing his father, Franco’s character evolves into a pretty bad-ass guy.

Cam Gigandet in Twilight

Widget_aefpui1-xkgrcuyh33zpoz

Cam played James, a tracker vampire in Twilight who became obsessed with the chase. He bit Bella and broke her leg before fighting with Edward. After you cut off the pony tail he sported in the movie, Cam is quite the hottie. Don’t remember his pony tail? Oh yeah, he was shirtless throughout most of the movie. I can see why you wouldn’t have remembered.

Alexander Skarsgård in True Blood

Alexander plays Eric Northman, a vampire over 1,000 years old. He doesn’t understand Bill’s fascination to mainstream with humans or his love for Sookie, a human. He hasn’t done anything totally evil quite yet, but you get the idea that he’s not finished with Bill or Sookie.

James Marsters in Buffy

I never really got into this show, but I’ve caught a few glimpses of Spike here and I had to add him to this list. A friend said that he was good and bad, but we’ll focus on the bad sides of him for this guide :)

The Heartbreaker

Ryan Phillippe in Cruel Intentions

Widget_aqeb9qbzbkkzu-silcg9os

I’d argue that being tricked into bed with Ryan isn’t necessarily a cruel intention, but that’s just me!

Chris Noth aka Mr. Big in Sex And The City

Widget_c_lf3tr5ln5osqfq1ryc9l

If you’ve seen Sex And The City the movie, he ends up not being a bad guy. But throughout the series Big has had his share of ups, downs, heartbreaks and heartaches.

The Guy On The Inside

Clive Owen in Inside Man

Widget_abfczyyz9idiafi-pbyt__

You can think of Clive Owen’s character, Dalton Russell, as an updated version of Alan Rickman’s villain in “Die Hard.” This guy is obviously different because Owen is much hotter than Rickman. Owen remains cool and calm while planning the perfect heist in Inside Job. Come on…who doesn’t love his voice whispering sweet nothings on screen?!

Sawyer on Lost

Widget_aqeufdbijlz788q4dmrqou

Josh Holloway as Sawyer is not really bad, per say, although he does have a tendency to piss off and alienate most of his fellow island dwellers. Regardless, if I were stranded on that island with him, I would have a hard time staying mad for very long, much less stay away from him.

Does Kevin Spacey in Usual Suspects count? Because I totally found him sexy. Also, I’m thinking my attraction to the bad characters is probably a sign of a more significant problem…with my taste in men.
