Denver is a perfect place to ride a motorcycle. Great gas mileage, easy parking, and 5 months of warm dry riding days. Here is a guide to everything you need to get moving on two wheels.
Learn to Ride
Before you get out on the street you should learn how to ride like a pro. These places give motorcycle lessons and will help you pass your test at the DMV to get a Motorcycle Endorsement on your license.
Don’t know what kind of bike you want? Try renting a few and see what feels best between your knees.

Gearing up
You need a helmet, gloves, and all kinds of other crap depending on what kind of riding you are going to be doing. Who knows, you might be one of those people who actually looks good wearing chaps.
On summer weekends the streets of Morrison are lined with bikes. It’s like a small version of Sturgis. Shine up your chrome and go have a Margarita and a burrito at this historic biker spot.

After the Crash
Motorcycles are dangerous. Don’t let anyone fool you that they are not. If you ride long enough you will eventually have an accident, and you will probably get hurt. There is a reason that Emergency Room Doctors call them “Donor-Cycles”. I am a very safe rider who never takes any chances. But I still have a steel rod and 14 screws in my left leg from getting clipped by a drunk driver. Be prepared. These people will help you.
