"Mom, I'm Sick"

So I think the cold/flu season has officially begun, and I am living proof! I woke up the other morning with a sore throat and runny nose. So far I've been inhaling Vitamin C-- I ate about 6 of them yesterday-- and I'm trying to drink plenty o' fluids. So as I continue to blow my nose, tell me, what do you do when you're under the weather? Do you eat your nana's chicken soup? Do you drink gallons of chamomile tea? Or do you just hide under the covers until you've recovered?

British Period Dramas

For some reason whenever I get sick, I have to watch some kind of British period drama. It doesn’t have to be Jane Austen, but I usually end up choosing something like “Pride and Prejudice.” For some reason 18th century romances tend to make me feel better.

Vitamin C

I don’t know if this stuff is beneficial after you’ve already gotten sick, but I eat the stuff like candy anyway.

Matzah Ball Soup

I have no idea how Matzah Ball Soup (aka Jewish Penicillin) would possibly make you feel better, but somehow it does! They should really put this stuff under a microscope and study it…

I DRINK MILKSHAKES

I always like an excuse to eat things that are bad for me and when I’m sick, I swear a strawberry shake is the one thing that can instantly make me feel better. I also like to make people go out and buy them for me, then deliver them to me- since I’m a princess. ?
