A few places we could go for lunch? If you have other ideas, copy this guide (the link is on the right) & add your suggested restaurant(s), and send me a link back to your guide.

I’ve never been here, but I’ve been told to go here by several people. Kind of a long drive for me generally, but looking forward to making it at some point.

I love this little sandwich shop. Kind of tight seating, but the guy is (or should be) a mini-legend. He’s been creating and running little operations like this his whole life, dating back to his origins in New Jersey. He’s a baker, so the bread is quite good.

A real cultural beacon for Five Points. I can’t get enough of this place, it’s true.

A New Hibachi / Sushi Place

They’re still in the “Grand Opening” phase ( = 20% off, and no liquor license). I had a $14 dinner-plate of sushi that was really, really good. My wife had the NY Strip hibachi and it was also very good. I think this place has a great future, not just for the location.
I forget that Hibachi is as much about a delicious hot meal as entertainment. They did “the onion volcano” on our first visit… (here’s a YouTube video demo).

The Onion Volcano. Usually done without anyone’s hands touching the onion, whatever.
