Yep. Obama is from Chicago and that makes me feel important that this man lived in my city and still calls it home like I do.

Friendly People

Out of all the major cities in this country, I have to say that Chicago is one of the friendliest. Maybe it’s because we’re located in the Midwest?

The dance community in Chicago is fairly small. This is great for artists because everyone knows everyone and we can all be a part of the dance community. No one gets left out.

Need to get away from the city but don’t want to leave? Go to the beach! Chicago is great because we have several beaches along lake Michigan to go and relax at.

The Parks

Chicago in the summer is one of the BEST cities in this country. I am no kidding. There are music festivals, street markets, and of course… beautiful parks. It’s nice to interrupt the day with a beautiful park to sit in.
