When to repair and when to upgrade your hot water heating system. Life expectancy of a water heater is around 13 years. So if your facing trying to repair a water heater that is near the end of is life than replacement of a water heater may be the best cost savings option.
Water Heaters
Which way do we go, gas or electric?
In most areas natural gas is the most economical way to go. It usually costs three times as much to heat the same amount of water with electricity as it does with gas.
If you have an electric water heater and a gas furnace or stove, you may save money in the long run if you extend the gas line to your water heater.
minerals that have dissolved into the water source can be deposited on the inside of the tank. Calcium and lime, in particular, react when heated and bind to the inside of the tank. The result is a tank that slowly loses capacity as well as having to use more energy to heat the same volume of water because of the rock-like nature of these mineral deposits
Endless Hot Water
Never take another cold shower again! Tankless water heaters offer hot water on demand, so you’re never limited to a fixed pre-heated supply like with a tank. You’ll enjoy hot water when you want it, for as long as you need it. Take a shower, wash dishes and do laundry all at the same time!
Energy Savings
Tankless water heaters, you can save up to 40% in energy. That’s because tankless units are designed to be highly efficient and only heat water when it’s needed. When the demand for water ceases, the unit shuts down and uses no energy.

Seattle was founded in the 1850s and named after Chief Seattle, also known as Noah Sealth. As of 2006, the city had an estimated population of 570,430 and a metropolitan population of around 3.1 million. Seattle is the hub for the Greater Puget Sound region. Its official nickname is the Emerald City because of the lush evergreen trees in the surrounding area; it is also referred to as the Rainy City, the Gateway to Alaska, Queen City, and Jet City, due to the local influence of Boeing. Seattle residents are known as Seattleites.
Seattle is known as the birthplace of grunge music, and it has a reputation for heavy coffee consumption: locally founded coffee companies include Starbucks and Tully's Coffee. Seattle was also the site of the 1999 meeting of the World Trade Organization, and the attendant demonstrations by anti-globalization activists, which were in keeping with Seattle's Democratic history and reputation for liberal politics. Researchers at Central Connecticut State University ranked Seattle the most literate city in America in 2005.
Based on per capita income, Seattle ranks 36th of 522 studied areas in the state of Washington.
