Oh those jingles that will forever be ingrained into your brain! I mean, do they ACTUALLY think they are good commercials? Their advertising tactics don't make me want to buy things. These commercials make me NOT want to watch TV at all. They come on so loud to try and grab your attention, then they contain cheesy jokes, and bad acting. Come on! Just flash your product and be done with it. No need to try and be funny, or write a song to go with it. I guess its working though. I can't get these songs out of my head! What are those horrible local commercials that you just can't stand?

Attorney Commercials

This guy and Peter Francis Geraci need to hire someone else to do their commercials. How about some actors?

A Mini Mall!

This one haunts my dreams! Those eyes! Those eyes!

Ernie Boch Jr. and the Andelmans

My least favorite people together in one commercial! Ernie Boch Jr. is a car salesman (who is also in a Boston band called “Ernie and the Automatics” LAME). The Andelmans are from the TV show, the Phantom Gourmet, which used to be amazing until they took over. WTF.

Empire Madness

This has been going on since the 70’s and began in Chicago. Sorry, now it’s national. This jingle will never leave our minds. I mean, I’ve caught myself singing this in the shower!

773-202-LUNA!

Sing along! Oh god, ahhhhhh! The acting in this one hurts me.

Safe Auto

Who would want to dance to this song?

Bob's Discount Furniture

OK. Where do I begin?

First of all, Bob is horrifically unattractive. Second, so is the furniture. And, luckily (or not?), the only commercial I could find is an older one, which doesn’t include the incredibly annoying, poorly dressed blonde chick who now appears in their more recent commercials…and actually makes them EXCRUCIATINGLY painful to watch.

Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned their claymation commercials. Kill me now.

HOw about the Cal Worthington Ford commercials here in Los Angeles? He has to be about 150 years old now. My father first saw his commercials in 1965. “Go see Cal, Go see Cal, Go see Cal”… I"d rather not, thanks.

You are SO RIGHT ON about the Empire commercial. I want to slit my wrists just thinking about it.

Woah! The empire commercial is so low quality that I thought it was locally from here in Seattle.

I am not loyal to any one place that serves up coffee. I like to hop around from place to place until I have found the perfect cup of coffee, or at least until my heart gives out. I love to poke fun at people, places, and circumstance. You can be a Coffee Slut too. Let's chat over a cup...
