Komasa Restaurant

This place has by far the most delicious sushi I’ve ever had in my life such fabulous and delectable dishes. My favorites include spicy tuna roll, yellowtail roll, and the salmon sashimi $13 decent portions for cheap prices! The fish is so fresh, it’s as if they flew it in right before they made your sushi—amazing! The spicy tuna is really spicy, but oh my palate is always thankful to have Komasa, less wait, better price, and good old fashioned sushi so close your eyes. you might be in japan

Cosmos

This tiny bar that is right next to Daikokuya is amazing. The bartenders smoke, regulars abound, and there is karaoke in the back…but not necessarily in English.

100 N Central Ave

Japanese American National Museum is a really great place to learn more about the history of Japanese Americans, you should really try to catch a guided tour these are a great way to meet new people and embrace the amazing photographs, stories, and if your still in the mood for a dose of whimsical Asian pop art you must see the giant robot exhibit, admissions price is only $8 for adults and $4 for students. Plus, it’s free on Thursdays from 5-8PM! What I also loved the cute gift shop and that you can practice the art in origami

Great guide — I LOVE Little Tokyo. Though, I really wish that you didn’t have to wait so long at Daikokuya all the time. They need to man up and take over Mr Ramen. There, I said it.

I am obsessed with all things Japan, sooooo now you’ve got me really wanting to go to LA to visit Little Tokyo. Boston just doesn’t have the equivalent. I could probably spend all week here chowing on sushi and learning Japanese. Actually, I’d probably end up moving there for good!

Ah, ramen noodles…the staple of my college days! I’ve yet to have the authentic kind, though — and with chili oil and garlic? I’m drooling!! Add more of your favorite locations in Little Tokyo…I need a guide for when I go visit my sister in L.A.! :)
