Tom Brady

Tom Brady is a dapper, all-American dreamboat.  New England Patriots superstar quarterback, metrosexual, model, model-dater, and probable future politician, Tom appears to be Mr. Perfect.  Let’s break it down.

The look

Whether it’s during post-game press conferences, charity events, or doing errands in public, Tom always manages to look as though he stepped from the pages of GQ.

The wallet

Tomas just signed a six-year, $60 million contract extension with the Patriots through 2010.  And, of course, there’s the endorsements.  He recently signed a 3 year contract with Glaceau, makes of Smartwater, valued between $3 to $5 million, and he’s the official spokesperson for Stetson.  Other endorsements include Nike, Sirius satellite radio, Hershey’s, The Gap, Visa credit cards, and Movado watches.

The girlfriend

Tom and extremely tall Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen have been dating since late 2006.  (More on that suspicious timing below.) 

The ex

Actress Bridget Moynahan was Tom’s main squeeze from 2004 to late 2006.  Apparently, things don’t work out when two people look basically like brother and sister.

The posse

Tom is pretty low-key and doesn’t run with the likes of Diddy and Heidi and Spencer and Brad and Angie.  Thank God.

For the most part, you’ll find him hanging with his offensive line (during the season), family, and close friends.

The bad

Oh, let’s see.  There was that little no-big-deal pregnancy that occurred after? before? during? his breakup with Bridget, which rather than resulting in a marriage proposal was instead immediately followed by a whirlwind romance with Gisele.

Who really knows, right?  And who knows what sort of relationship he has with his new son, Jack.  But it’s a tarnish on Mr. Perfect’s image nonetheless.

Bill Belichick

Head coach for the New England Patriots since 2000 and the mastermind behind their three Superbowl wins, Bill is the serious and almost surly presence on the sidelines and in media interviews.  Yet, the mantra of devoted New England fans is “In Bill We Trust.”  Who is this guy?

The look

To be fair, we don’t really see Bill much off the field.  He’s not at da clubs or shopping on Newbury Street.  But if his on-field wardrobe is any indication, he values function over form.

The wallet

Bill’s salary is kept under tight wraps, although for 2007 it had been reported to be in the $4.2 million range.  He’s inked with the Patriots through the 2013 season.  And endorsements?  Um, none. 

The girlfriend

Well, as of press time, it looks like it’s Florida lady Linda Holliday, with whom he’s been spotted at a recent Boston Celtics game as well as during the week leading up to Super Bowl XLII – the very same game which he also flew gal pal (and former New York Giants receptionist) Sharon Shenocca (more on her, below) in for.

The ex

In ths summer of 2006, Bill divorced longtime wife Debby, mother to his three children. 

The posse

In between his lady-juggling, Bill makes time for one special friend: Jon Bon Jovi.  Yes folks, I’m serious.  They both share a love of football and music; Bon Jovi’s song “Bounce” is even dedicated to Bill.

The bad

OK, where do we begin.

There was Spygate, the incident when the Patriots were caught taping the New York Jets’ defensive signals.  Bill was personally fined a league-high $500,000 and the Patriots were fined $250,000, and lost their first round draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.  Accoring to Bill, he misinterpreted the rules and apologized for his mistake.

THEN, Bill was named as the “other man” in divorce proceedings for Sharon Shenocca.  Whoops!
