Preparation for Laser Hair Removal

There are few things all Roswell patients should know before undergoing Laser Hair Removal.  When the Laser Hair Removal treatment is being performed, the laser works by targeting the hair follicles beneath the skin.  Because of this, we ask you to refrain from waxing, tweezing or using depilatory creams at least three weeks before your treatment.  This will ensure that the hairs are present in the follicles for treatment.

We also ask that Roswell patients refrain from sun exposure one week prior to your laser hair removal treatment as well as one week after treatment.  The Laser Hair Removal procedure is most effective when your skin is in its most natural state.  Skin exposed to the sun will have to be treated on a more conservative settings therefore your treatments won’t be nearly as effective.
