Putting away my flip flops always causes a few tears to fall from my eyes. And the only thing that can really cheer me up is buying new boots! Since I'm a pretty big boot fan, I know just where to go in Boston to get this year's hottest styles in boots. There are so many boots to choose from, you might just end up breaking your bank account a few times before winter is through. Of course you'll need short, tall, heels, flats, fur, zip-up, and so on, and so on. Hey, Boston's winters are no fun; at least you can look good braving the storms!

You can fight it all you want, but Uggs are damn comfortable. Sure, they’re not the cutest things in the world and you may say they’re so “passé,” but I’m pretty sure Uggs will never go out of style. Because they are far too warm and comfortable to be forgotten.

Just don’t find yourself in an Ugg fail. Please, please, please don’t wear Uggs if the temperature is above 50 degrees. Please don’t wear Uggs with skirts. Uggs are really good at serving a purpose: keeping us warm when our toes feel like they’re going to fall off. That’s why we like them. Don’t reinforce Uggs’ bad name by abusing your use of them.
Wear them when it’s appropriate. Or you fail.

The boots have Nike Air soles, but you would never know it by looking at them. All the boots are completely cute and stylish, but they’re also mega-comfortable. Honestly, how could you ask for anything more??

My Cole Haan Nike Air Boots
AKA the best purchase I’ve made in my life. These boots are extremely cute (Eva Longoria was spotted wearing them!), but also incredibly comfortable. Though they retailed for $500, I snagged them at the Cole Haan outlet in Wrentham for only $100. Amazing!

The Macy’s in Downtown Crossing is my favorite Macy’s around. Especially their shoe section. I could spend all day just browsing the Macy’s shoe section for boots, but would probably leave with way too many pairs. Whether you’re looking for something high-end and costly, or something a bit more inexpensive, you’ll find the perfect boots at Macy’s!

More Boot Fails
There are more ways to commit boot fails than simply wearing Uggs in the summer. Boots can and should be totally cute. Unfortunately, there are people out there designing some pretty horrible boots. Be careful of these. Just because it’s being sold in a stylish store, does not necessarily mean you should be wearing them on your feet. Ask a trusted friend’s advice if you need to.
Umm are you from outer space?? A really ugly version of it? Please show me someone who would look good in these.
I know I love Uggs, but these are going about 100 steps too far. Basically, they’re hideous. And unless you want to be mistaken for a polar bear who got its toes shaved, I would stay far, far away.
I love Christian Dior just as much as the next girl, but really Christian? Really? What are you trying to do here? Something tells me no matter how fashionable the name is, you are not going to look good in these.
