There are basically 3 types of cabinets available in Orange County. Manufactured, custom and imported. Most manufactured cabinets are made in states other than California. They vary as to cost and quality. Most custom cabinets made here are inexpensive and of lower quality with regard to box construction and finish. Almost all of the imports are cheap and from China. When shopping for cabinets remember: cheap often costs more in the long run and a house made of popsicle sticks is “custom”. Compare carefully before making such a large investment.
