The State of Florida requires all individuals to have completed the required security officer training school and obtain a license as either an Unarmed Class “D” License or Armed Class “D” & “G” License. You must not poses and felonies within ten years and you may not poses and misdemeanors with in 2 years. 18yrs of age or older to work as an armed security officer. Individuals That do not poses a license may go to an accredited security guard training school in the state of florida to obtain there license.
