My 26th Boston Birthday: Your Guide to Making it My Best Birthday Ever!
Do you love me? If so, you'll want to make sure my birthday is the best it can possibly be, right? I don't really need any exotic vacations (unless you want to), but I wouldn't mind a few useful gifts (shoes. I like shoes).
Getting older is depressing. I thought 25 was bad, but 26 is a million times worse. That's why I need material items (and cupcakes) to make me happy. And you do want me to be happy, right?? Happy birthday to me!
Jordan's Furniture

I need new bedroom furniture. Like badly. Target dressers seemed like a good idea 3 years ago, but apparently Target furniture doesn’t like to lastmore than 2 years. I currently look like I live in a dump as the drawers are falling out of all my bedroom furniture.
Since I’m a big girl now, maybe it’s time I upgrade my furniture to Jordan’s quality. And maybe, just maybe, it will last longer than to my 28th birthday.
Oh, and as you probably know, Jordan’s is so much more than furniture. If I could have my birthday party at the Reading store, I’d be one happy girl! 3D movies, trapeze, ice cream, candy, and so much more! What? So what that I’m turning 26?!

My new furniture
September has only just begun, but my parents have already bought me my present: brand new furniture from Jordan’s Furniture! I’m so psyched to get my new white bureau, dresser, and nightstand. With actual working drawers!
For My Wall
What better to go with my new furniture? Since my room is basically all pink and white and cupcakes are pretty much my life, I’ve decided I NEED this print in my room. Sure it’s a little bit pricey at $89, but do you have any idea how happy it would make me? And how calming it would be to me? Worth it!
New Watch
It’s high time I had a new watch. While I dearly love my Movado, it’s 3.5 years old, was given to me by my ex-bf, and just needs to be updated in general.

I’m a big fan of Movado watches because they’re sleek and stylish and look good on my disgustingly scrawny wrist. I love the bracelet-like look of them. Plus, the batteries legit last forever. Oh, and pretty crystals on them don’t hurt either.

New Sneakers
In the past 6 months, I’ve gone through a serious life makeover, which involves going to the gym and working out A LOT. I’m embarrassed to say how long I’ve had the sneakers I’m currently wearing, especially since they’ve never really been comfortable in the first place. It’s clearly time for some new ones. I only love my current Nikes because they’re pink, so more pink is a must!

I’ve never been to the outlet store in Cambridge, but you should check it out if you’d like to buy me some new sneakers for my birthday (size 7 please!). Lots of Cupcakes
If you want to make me really, really happy on my birthday, all you really have to do is surround me with cupcakes. Lots of them. All different kinds. And promise me that calories don’t count on my birthday. Because I remember hearing that somewhere. And I’m counting on it.

Pumpkin Lattes
In addition to cupcakes, I am obsessed with pumpkin spice flavored coffee and would appreciate being surrounded with it all birthday long. I generally don’t get the lattes because they’re filled with calories, but since it’s my birthday and calories don’t count, I’ll take some pumpkin spice lattes. Excellent! Other pumpkin flavored treats are also welcome.

North Face Fleece
I have a serious addiction to North Face fleeces (specifically Denali). I wear them whenever the weather is fit and find nothing more comfortable (specifically when paired with Uggs…see below).
And now, my dream has come true!! North Face Fleeces come in a hooded variety. Hooray!! For some horrible reason, I don’t own a black North Face fleece, so I’m pretty sure I need this. Actually, I’m not pretty sure; I’m really sure.

New Uggs
Uggs are another winter staple that you can never have to many of. I’m really in need of some tall black Uggs (especially to match my new black North Face hooded fleece!). I would greatly prefer tall black Uggs with a zipper, but I do realize these are hard to find, so I’ll settle for without. But I really would prefer the Ultra variety, thank you very much.

I think Uggs are the warmest, most comfortable thing you can put on your feet, ever. And no matter how “out of style” they are, I will continue to wear them with pure joy and happiness. Hey, I live in Boston, the winters here are not pretty. My feet might not look pretty with Uggs on them, but at least they’ll be warm.

Trip to Chicago
OK, so I know I said I don’t need any exotic vacations, but come on, Chicago isn’t exactly exotic. But it is filled with some of my favorite people, including my big sister and her fiance. I’m planning on going in October, so it would be awesome if you could just grab me a plane ticket. I prefer Jet Blue. And refuse to take Air Tran. Just so you know.
I don’t have such a huge issue with Logan Airport like some Bostonians seem to. I love that it’s easy for me to get to (sure, it’s a few transfers on the T, but only ends up costing $2) and I don’t usually have any trouble navigating. Of course, Manchester is a bit less congested and simpler, but because I live in Boston, Logan is the only way for me to go.
