Internets - The Memes (Part 3)
The Internets really does have it all. There's things that you should not see, and things you definitely shouldn't miss. Here's the best of things you'll probably see a lot of if you use the Internets. WELCOME TO MY GUIDE!!!!!!!!! I KISS YOU !!!!!
What the Hell is a Meme?
Memes are Internet Phenomenomes that occur when a certain joke, video, or just plain randomness is repeated so many times that it becomes part of the culture of the Internets. There are so many examples of this that it’s impossible to give a complete guide, but I’ve done my best to include not only some of the most well-known but also some weird rare ones.
MEME #1 - Caturday & Lolcats
Caturday is Saturday on the Internets. All business shuts down so people can post their favorite lolcats. A lolcat is a picture of a cat with a caption done in MS Paint (which can take over 9000 hours of work to accomplish). These captions are quite horrible in grammar & spelling, intimating that cats are horrible at the English language.
Which is the truth in a way.
Another sickeningly cute cat captioned.
Lolcats = Caturday. Google knows the score.
Happy Cat
Happy cat wants a cheeseburger.
Lolrus
Sometimes the habit of captioning cats extends to other animals.
MEME #2 - Raptor Jesus
Pretty much self-explanatory. I think that the Internets somehow makes people insane.
It must be what they put in the tubes.
Raptor Jesus blesses one of His followers.
Break Time - WTF
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.
The three words that describe a whooooole lot on the Internet. Here’s some weird pics before we get back to the memes.
The Lol Wut pear is nearly everywhere. If you do a search on him you can find a lot of other weird WTF pics.
I don’t know. Apparently astronauts are now using sharks for transportation.
Usually my reaction to the above pictures.
Weezer and Meme Overload.
Really, what’s going on here?
Not the kind of memes I’m talking about here.

MEME #3 - FAIL
When things go beyond a simple mistake, there’s always FAIL. When there are accidents in real life, you pick yourself up and move on. You can even ignore them and pretend they didn’t happen.
On the Internets, you’re pretty much stuck cause nothing is ever really off it.
MEME #4 - Diabeetus
Largely a takeoff of the Wilford Brimley commercials discussing some products for diabetes, there’s a picture of evil Brimley that personifies this meme.
This is what happens when memes cross over.
MEME #5 - Ha Ha Guy
Yes, it’s true that one of our users is a meme.
These guys film their reactions to 2 girls 1 cup, goatse, meatspin. If you don’t know what these are, DON’T look them up, especially at work.
Really, don’t ever look them up. Or Lemon Party. Don’t.
Just sayin’. Really, don’t.
A short-lived meme that still pops up every now and then.
MEME #7 - O Rly?
O rly is a meme with an owl who basically looks like he’s saying that. The proper response when someone says O rly to you is Ya rly.
MEME #8 - Nom Nom Nom
Whenever someone is eating something, this is the sound of it on the Internets.
MEME #9 - Candlejack
Candlejack is an Internet meme that basically means people disappear after they say
