Inman Square is one of my favorite locations outside of Boston. It is packed with restaurants that are almost a hundred years old in addition to new bars and boutiques that seem to be popping up everyday. From the new to the old, there is always something to be discovered in Inman. This guide includes some of my favorites. What are yours?

Trina's Starlite Lounge

Trina’s is one of the newest restaurants in the neighborhood that boasts an old, but hip, 50’s style.

With barely any windows it seems almost shady from the outside, in an exclusive way, but when you walk inside, it’s anything but.

They have good old comfort food, interesting cocktails, a friendly waitstaff and bartenders that make you want to be their friend.

And, their kitchen is open until midnight, which keeps the place packed all night.

S & S Restaurant Deli

S & S has been in Inman Square since 1919 – it is pretty much an historic landmark.

While they serve meals throughout the day, my favorite time to go is for brunch. It is always packed but the place is so big you rarely have to wait.

Boutique Fabulous

One of my favorite things about Boutique Fabulous is that they are open late. It’s so nice to be able to stroll in spontaneously while taking a walk on a warm night.

From the housewares to the jewelry and clothing and even luggage, everything in Boutique Fabulous is adorable.

Christina's Homemade Ice Cream

You just can’t beat homemade ice cream that comes in a million different flavors. Enough said.

1369 Coffee House

1369 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA 02139

I can’t think of any better way to spend a Sunday morning than with a latte, quiche, NY Times, and people watching at 1369 (Cambridge Street over Mass Ave, for sure). Since moving to DC, I have yet to find a place that has skilled baristas in such a unique ambiance as 1369’s.
