If You Didn't Live in Boston...
If you didn't live in Boston, where would you live? What would you do? While I love Boston with all my heart, sometimes I dream of being somewhere else. No matter what, every city will be lacking in something
I'd Go to Chicago
I was never really a fan of Chicago until my sister moved there and I went to visit a few times. It’s like Boston on streoids. With nicer people. It’s nice and big and people actually smile at you on the street. If I had to move anywhere, it would be Chicago. Not only do I love the city, but my sister is there. Plus, I know a bunch of fabulous Chicagoians.
I'd Go Somewhere to Get a Real Job
New York City definitely isn’t nicer than Boston but it is bigger. And I probably could actually get a real job in NYC, since it’s filled with publishing houses, like Hearst. Boston is seriously lacking in the publishing houses and I’ll most likely never land the job of my dreams here. NYC, I could probably make it happen.
I'd Go Somewhere Warmer
Or maybe I’d just go somewhere with a tropical beach. Why am I talking about going to cities that are just as cold as Boston when I could be on a tropical beach???
I'd go to Portland, OR
Portland has changed so much in the past couple years, and I’m LOVING it there. Independent coffee shops on every corner, tons of vegan and vegetarian restaurants, fun bars and clubs, tons of park space to walk around, great shopping, and brand new lofts overlooking the Colombia River.
Anguilla
Actually, if I didn’t have to worry about jobs, money, family, friends, or… ANYTHING, I’d move to Anguilla. By far my favorite Caribbean island!
I'd go to San Francisco
I’m such a born and bred New Englander, and my house, family, and husband are all keeping me put. But, I looove San Fran. I visited my sister there years ago and could absolutely envision myself living there.

Boston
I love cupcakes, the color pink, writing, technology, blogging, trying to learn Japanese, and walking from one end of Boston to the other.
I make it my goal to try one new thing in Boston every week, but sometimes I find things I love so much, I just can't tear myself away from them.
