If The Shoe Fits: Los Angeles Edition

This sneaker shop has opened up outlets all over the city, but the OG flagship is on La Brea. They don’t have a huge selection (this ain’t Shoe Pavillion, honey) but they do have exclusive sneaks you’d be hard- pressed to find elsewhere.

Unlike the other sneaker boutiques in the area, Sportie LA doesn’t subscribe to the smaller is better philosophy. This store is jam-packed with everything from Keds to limited edition Pumas.

This Pasadena store has more shoes than we’ve ever seen (though we haven’t seen the inside of Imelda Marcos’ closet). They have tons of Nikes, Pumas, and Adidas in colors and patterns we didn’t even know existed. If it’s not here, it probably doesn’t exist.

This 3rd Street Promenade shop has a varied selection that includes Havaiana flip-flops, Seychelles flats, Frye boots, and Dansko clogs. They also have a cool selection of Chucks if you’re on a Converse kick.

This boutique offers seriously cute ballerina flats in every shade and color you could ever think of. Racing stripes, leopard print, zebra print, leopard print, snakeskin…and we just had a “Forest Gump” flashback.

Now these shoes aren’t as sexy as those sky-high Manolos, BUT they are made by a former orthopedic surgeon— which means they won’t turn your toes into calloused talons. And don’t let the whole orthopedic thing throw you off, these shoes are stylish and VERY un-grandma-like.

Jimmy Choo really needs no introduction. Just be prepared to spend a pretty penny at this shoe mecca.

This sleek brand caters to young starlets who favor suede riding boots and gladiator sandals. SM also carries a “more affordable” line of shoes called Belle—in this instance, “more affordable” means $200 instead of $400.

If you fancy yourself a Carrie Bradshaw type, than you have probably already familiarized yourself with the Louboutin line. Otherwise, you should probably steer clear of this place unless you want to take out a second mortgage.

This uber hip shoe store in Silver Lake offers hard-to- find brands that have that Euro chic look about them. Kork Ease, Camper, Corso Como, Dolce Vita, and All Black are just of the labels they carry. And to make matters worse for the compulsive shopper they have a ridiculously cool selection of handbags from Orla Kiely, Hayden Harnett, and One October.
