I thought that when it came to ice cream I wouldn't discriminate. Chocolate, green tea, strawberry, coffee, all of that is superb to me-not one is better than another. That was until I came across bacon flavored ice cream, (no this is not a joke) it wasn't until then that I realized A. I don't love bacon as much as I thought I did and B. Someone would actually have to PAY me to eat that kind of ice cream. So it got me thinking, what other crazy flavors and crazy ICE CREAM things exist.....??? LET'S FIND OUT!

New York City’s Serendipity 3 restaurant is known for its desserts but this is just outrageous, they’ve created a $1000 Serendipity Golden Opulence Sundae. To dig into this costly treat, you must make a reservation 48 hours in advance. The sundae itself consists of five scoops of ice cream made with Tahitian and Madagascar vanilla ice cream. The toppings include rare Amedei chocolate, golden caviar, passion fruit, Armagnac, Parisian candied fruits, Marzipan, cherries and a 23-carat edible gold leaf. Someone would pay to eat caviar on a sundae? Who are you people?

MAKE AVOCADO ICE CREAM:
Ingredients:
1/2 pint (250ml) double (heavy) cream
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 pint (375ml) milk
3 ripe avocados
Take the avocados, peel and seed them then put into a blender with the milk and make a purée. Pour the purée into a mixing bowl, add the sugar, lemon juice and cream and beat until creamy. Then transfer the complete mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
