Some TV is so bad it's good. You know you're not bettering your life by watching all-day marathons of America's Next Top Model or The Hills, but you sure are having a good time. Plus, you really do need to know what is going to happen now that Lauren lives with Lo!! Of course you could turn on PBS, but then you'd probably fall asleep or something.
What TV shows do you refuse to feel guilty about watching?
The Hills
Why do we care so much about fake reality TV? Why do we tune in every week to see fake tears and lame fights? Can someone please answer these questions?!
I mean, come on. There really is nothing NOT trashy about this. And how sad that these are the lines we will be repeting for years to come?
We can’t help but LOVE it though.
I refuse to be guilty.
Greek
A sitcom about sororities and fraternities. Wicked mature, right? I can’t help it though; these kids make me miss college like crazy. No matter what kind of college you went to (or didn’t go to), I swear, this show will make you want to go back!
Plus, um, you can watch all the past episodes of Greek online. Try not to waste your whole weekend watching them all or anything though. But you probably will. Oops.
The Pussycat Dolls
Yeah, I know. I know. Why? Yes, they are all kinda dumb and don’t have a lot of talent, but I tell ya I could not stop watching this show! How hard these girls rehearsed was craziness and for some, it was a life long dream. Don’t you wish your girlfriend was hot like them?
I’m not sure what’s wrong with me, but I always get sucked into VH1’s Dating shows. The newest “Real Chance at Love” is no different that the ones in the past like Flava of Love and I Love New York, but yet I still can’t say no.
Where do I begin with this show? The host (Suzanne Whang) has the personality of a glass of water. The buyer(s) in pretty much every episode are excruciatingly annoying; the realtors are even worse. With all that being said, I could watch this show all day long.
This show is so awful but I love it. The season finale for A Shot at Love 2 was such good television though! There is drama, heartbreak and people getting drunk and belligerent. It just doesn’t get much better or trashier than this.
Ok…this show on Bravo makes you wonder how there could be people that are THAT unlikeable. Young men, with big careers and big dollar signs and BIG, BIG, EGOS. They are absolutely hateable and pretentious…yet, I tune in?
This show has no premise, it just follows around the Kardashian family as they endure the “hardships” of living in their mansion in bucolic Hidden Hills, CA. Everyone on the show is pretty stupid, but I think that’s what makes it so incredibly addicting.
I fought it at first. I knew I wasn’t going to be seeing Mrs. Teasley and there probably wouldn’t be a party where an egg is the top secret invitation. But honestly, the new 90210 is getting kind of good! They have added just the right amount of sass, some mildly interesting new characters, and even if for a short time, I’ve enjoyed the brilliant bitchiness of Brenda. This is the kind of mindless entertainment that helps me to sleep at night.
