Learn how to write a linkbait article that will drive traffic to your site virally. Increase your site name exposure, and have fun while you do it!

Here's a Quick Way to Increase Your Brand Exposure

Writing content for websites is sometimes it’s own entity. There’s always the temptation to write for a viral effect, ie. getting on Digg, Reddit, Mixx, StumbleUpon with little effort; and there’s writing for a static page of pure info.

So how do you find a balance between the two, where you can effectively manage the information you have, and would like to get across (whether its about your company, or just a straightforward cut and dry article to help with search engine position)?

Well the first part is easy. You’ve got all the information you want to publish, and now you need to set it up in a way where you can feel like you aren’t driving your potential users insane.

1. First of all, set up your content in digestible chunks. Turn those 500 words per page into something easy to digest with your eyes, and provide some related images, that are all the same size for consistency.

2. Have fun with it. If you are talking about hair loss to hawk your product, make a fantastic list with catchy headlines – “13 Hair Loss Horror Stories” would be a good one, showing images of crazy baldness. I think you get the idea.

3. Provide enough information to cover all your bases, but do not force feed it to your users.

This simple, yet informative how to guide will be a good head start to getting into good writing for the web habits.

Good guide idea!I would add that you should use an outlet that makes it easy to find and share your content, and that you use good search words/tags and a good url.
