Volunteer Opportunities

Family Volunteer – Family volunteers work directly with families providing support.  Volunteers can either be matched with one family or can help on an as needed basis with several families.  No amount of time is too little as there are many ways to help on a one time basis.  Volunteers for this position  complete an application, submit to a background and reference check and attend  a two-hour in person training. 

Event Volunteer – There With Care has many events throughout the year.  Some are major fundraising events and others smaller community events.  Volunteers for this position complete an application, submit to a background and reference check and attend event committee meetings as needed prior to the event. 

Administrative Volunteer – Administrative volunteers can offer time on a regular basis assisting with administrative tasks in the There With Care offices.  Due to the training involved with this position, a regular commitment is suggested.  If a volunteer is interested in occasional volunteer opportunity performing administrative tasks, projects can be assigned such as preparing press kits, manuals, mailings and other materials.
