The wonderfully exciting city of Scottsdale, Arizona, boasts many nightlife facets that are virtually not found anywhere else in the country. With the exception of a few other key cities, namely New York and Los Angeles, Scottsdale is rightfully known as having one of the hottest nightlife’s in the country. And, in accordance with this hot nightlife, Scottsdale also has a hopping single's scene.

But, many of us men fail to often realize that our dates may just want a little bit more for their night out with us. So I happily present to you the second part of my dating guide for Scottsdale. What you will see is two more unique and provocative ideas that weld the hot nightlife of Scottsdale together with ideal dating concepts—all to allow you to pull of the perfect date in Scottsdale.

Greater Phoenix Swing Dance Club

Offering your date a dose of originality and flare will go a long way in convincing them that you are truly the man. Not many guys will ever even take a date swing dancing. But by showing them a good time and taking these lessons together, you will not only demonstrate that you are willing, but that you are able to work together on something. And hey, swing dancing is tons of fun!

Farrelli's Cinema Supper Club

14202 N Scottsdale Road #14, Scottsdale, AZ 85254

This awesome establishment is truly on to something great. They are a fully-featured and gourmet restaurant that also has a built in theatre. Their ticket prices are reasonable and they are always showing new releases. You will need to make sure that you make a reservation or you may not get in.

Once inside you will be treated to five-star service and eats, very large and comfy chairs with a table, great drinks and dinner while you watch a current movie together. Pretty cool idea and a great place to take a date for dinner and a movie combined.

Sugar Bowl

4005 N Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

This restaurant and sugary eatery is one of the oldest establishments in Old Town Scottsdale. They have been in business since the 50s, which is the style that you will be welcomed with upon entering. They are open until about ten-o-clock on the weekends, so provided that your movie does not take too long, head to this place for amazing ice cream eats and desert following dinner and a movie.

Saddle Ranch

4321 North Scottsdale Rd. Scottsdale, Az 85251

The newest nightspot to open in South Scottsdale boasts a huge interior, two levels and the infamous mechanical horse. They offer great eats, awesome drink prices and decent service. Albeit the place gets really packed, so sometimes there can be a lag in service. But with three full bars, there is always somebody ready to mix up a martini for you and your date. Scottsdale Artwalk

5151 E. 5th Ave Scottsdale, AZ 85251

The Scottsdale Art Walk takes place on the first Thursday of each month, so make sure to plan your date around this accordingly. You will be treated to a few square miles in the Old Town Scottsdale district, which are roped off just for this event. Over one hundred local art galleries host tents; there are also live performers, artist and tons of other vendor booths including food and drinks. You could easily spent a night here just walking around and enjoying the ambience.

Bucca Di Beppo

3828 North Scottsdale Road Scottsdale, AZ 85251

This old time Italian bistro offers a homely taste of Italy. Upon entering they will walk you through the kitchen so you can see their chefs cooking up the great eats they have to offer, while on the way to your table. You can even eat a table in kitchen upon request and availability. Be sure to ask about the order sizes, as they are huge and generally are meant to be share. While it can get a little loud inside, this is still a great place to take a date for an amazing and exciting meal, and a real taste of Italian home cooking.

Greasepaint Scottsdale Youtheatre

7020 E 2nd St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

This community theatre is conveniently located near all things in Old Town Scottsdale, and ticket prices are about $10-$15 depending on the show. Nothing sells romance more than taking your date to an exciting play where local performers strut their acting skills before packed audiences. While the acting parties are youthful, do not let this fool you. Most of these kids have taken vast amounts of acting lessons and are excellent on stage.

Martini Ranch

7295 E Stetson Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

One of the hottest clubs for live music in South Scottsdale awaits you and your date. A short trip from the theatre and a quick valet park job will gain you admittance into this very popular nightclub. The club features several areas, including a huge stage room, and a very large patio with two levels.

There are several bars strewn throughout the club and you will not find hotter bands playing anywhere else in Scottsdale. Enjoy drinks and live music with your date before heading home to consummate the evening. See the video below to check out live music at the Martini Ranch.
