After a painful wait at City Hall, I found that the garage across the street from my apartment was an official polling location with no line. What's your story?
The discomfort induced by my working-woman shoes only fanned my political fire.
I haven’t waited in a line like this since Tickle Me Elmo hit the shelves.
A creative homeless guy cheered me up along the way with a sign requesting donations for this “George Bush Going Away Party.” I make it a habit to support anyone adding some type of ambiance to the surroundings, whether through tap dancing or clever signage. Needless to say, I contributed.
In and out in less than 5 minutes
We had no line at all — our voting place is about a 2 minute walk from our house, and there was NO LINE at all! But I had to walk there in my working woman shoes. Which pretty much sucked.
