This may sound obvious, but I love toast (I say obvious because I seriously can't understand how you would not like a piece of warm crusty toast.) And what's great about toast is that you can have it so many different ways! So many different types of breads, and oh so many different spreads (paging Dr. Suess). If I were a statistician I'd come up with all the possible ways of loving toast, but since I'm not, I'll just say they're infinitesimal. So let's all pay homage to the glory that is toast.

With Butter

You can’t deny the delciousness that is a warm piece of sourdough toast with a generous spread of butter. And not just any type of butter, I’m talking the real stuff— salted, and full fat. None of that I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter or margarine crap.

With Honey

There’s really nothing more delicious than eating toast with honey. Nothing.

With Peanut Butter and Banana

Nothing gets me out of the bed in the morning like the promise of wheat toast covered with peanut butter and banana (with a little honey for good measure, of course).

With Egg

Perhaps one of the most transcendent ways to eat toast is to cover it with with a gooey sunny- side-up egg. Extra points for a little butter and some salt.

Kir Royale Jam

My parents just bought this for me. Because what’s better than drinking a Kir Royale with your breakfast? Putting it on your toast…obviously!
