Let me clarify, being passive aggressive is not the same as being a jerk. However one can be both passive aggressive and also a jerk.
Signs of a passive aggressive man
Some highlights:
FEAR OF DEPENDENCY – Unsure of his autonomy & afraid of being alone, he fights his dependency needs – usually by trying to control you.
FEAR OF INTIMACY – Guarded & often mistrusful, he is reluctant to show his emotional fragility. He’s often out of touch with his feelings, reflexively denying feelings he thinks will “trap” or reveal him, like love. He picks fights to create distance.
SULKING – Feeling put upon when he is unable to live up to his promises or obligations, the p/a man retreats from pressures around him and sulks, pouts and withdraws.
Spread lies about people
and then deny it.
Breaking up is hard to do
Unless you are a passive aggressive jerk. It really doesn’t take much effort but here are some suggestions to let him or her down and piss them off in the process.
Facebook break up
Just cancel your relationship on facebook. There is no need to talk in person or to call. They will get the message. And so will all their friends!
Post-it note break up
This is a great way to break up with someone if you are a passive aggressive jerk.

Not confronting matters head on but going around people or to public forums to rudely confront people without confronting them.
No verbal communication
If you are a passive aggressive jerk you will find a way to get your message across without ever talking to or seeing the person you are trying to give the message. There are many creative ways to do this.

I can’t stand that blonde guy… is he from the Hills and his name is Spencer? If I ever saw that guy in person I would throw up in my mouth a little bit, and then swallow it, and then go up and talk to him… he gives me the creeps. Passive aggressiveness is such a lame way of having no confidence.
