Horse Boarding and Riding Lessons

Deer Canyon Stables is a full care, horse boarding and equine facility located in Leander, Texas. We have year round horsemanship programs and riding lessons for all ages and we're a horse ride away from Lake Travis in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Our customers include folks from Leander, Cedar Park, Jonestown, Lago Vista, and Austin areas. Our property offers paddocks, stalls, round pens, an arena, tack room and plenty of sprawling acres and country trails outside the property for horseback riding for your enjoyment in a natural environment. Our focus is mainly on teaching you about horseback riding and care of the horse. We teach you to love the horse and all the fun that goes along with a horse experience. Our program incorporates good horsemanship and team work, playing games with the horses and to understand natural horse methods or even riding all the way up to advanced horseback riding skills. Learn basic horse care and beginning riding skills in this series of group lessons. A fun, game format teaching natural horsemanship skills and more, building confidence and safety on the grounds and in the saddle. Gift certificates are also available.
