There are two historic districts in Lake Charles. The Charpentier District was the first and largest. The Margaret Place Historic District is a city district that was created in the mid 90's. This page is dedicated to Margaret Place.
There are only 5 homes or businesses on South Ryan that are technically in Margaret Place Historic District. Each is on South Ryan, which is the Southern boundary of the district.
