If you ask me, there's nothing more enchanting and delightful than having high tea! Not only is everything SO. DARN. CUTE (hello bite-sized scones and dainty floral teacups!); BUT, the whole ordeal encourages you to a) eat thoughtfully and patiently, b) engage in (ideally) sophisticated conversation, and c) slow down just for a bit. Fairmont Miramar Hotel

The Fairmont Miramar once accommodated about 70+ girls in my sorority for an afternoon of high tea a few years back and we had the best time! Plenty of food, wonderful service and a gorgeous setting in Santa Monica. Ocean breezes make an L.A. tea party that much more incredible.
