Believe it or not carpooling scares a lot of people, who are worried about freak encounters. Just use common sense, when carpooling and you will be surprised with the quality of people to meet. If your nervous travel with other people and screen your rides to make sure you feel comfortable.

Ditch The H2 or SUV

Despite the fact, we Americans are addicted to Large cars, there are a few changes you can make to reduce your contributions to greenhouse gases.  If you can’t ditch the your cars, try downsizing your commuter car to a smaller more efficient car.  This works great if you are a family and have one car that is much more used.

 

Don't Drive!

If high prices are getting to you, the cheapest option is… Stop Driving!  But like abstinence this option doesn’t work for most people.
