Hebrew Homes and Jackson Plaza Wellness and Therapy Pavilion

Staff of Jackson Plaza Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a JCAHO Accredited and 5 Star Rated Center, welcomed friends, physicians, and residents’ families to a celebration for the opening of the new Wellness & Therapy Pavilion. Therapy Director, Roosevelt Moore, and his Team of Certified and Licensed Therapists demonstrated the new equipment recently added to this state-of-the-art Pavilion. The newest equipment includes an Omnicycle that enables individuals to increase their stamina and strengthen muscles weakened by a stroke or other injury; an HIVAMAT® used to help eliminate swelling in joints and limbs, and the Nintendo Wii Sport which allows residents to have fun while helping their body heal with exercise.
