Blossom has a lovely brunch on the weekends with French Toast!

Candle Cafe started out as a juice bar when one of the owners, Bart Potenza won the lottery. They get creative with vegan food and make the most everyday staples. They have a great selection of soups. The tempeh is the best! They also have great juices, smoothies and frozen drinks. I like the limonade and the mocha latte.

The two boots are the boot of Italy and the boot of Louisiana. They mix the two cuisines and the result is delicious spicy Italian food. My favorite is the Earth Mother with no cheese. It has a spicy sauce and tons of vegetables.

The best vegan desserts in NYC. They have gluten free treats and use mostly unrefined sugar. They also have really cute 50’s style uniforms. The best time to go is on Saturday afternoons when they are usually baking. I wanted to hop over the counter and start eating the pastel pink frosting with a spoon!

I love their cupcakes and “skinny” buns. Martha Stewart approves. Check it out!

Teany was started by Kelly Tisdale and Moby. They have a wide variety teas. 98 to choose from! You can even get vegetarian or vegan afternoon tea. I love their lavender lemonade and mango gazpacho in the summer. They have vegan scones and cupcakes.

They have brunch on the weekends. My favorite is the dairy-free Healthier Chocolate Chip Pancakes served with dairy-free strawberry “butter”. Now that is what I call breakfast!

Josie’s has great food and the best drinks in town! The sangria is my favorite. They have lychee wine, apple wine, mango, red and white sangria. This is a great place for vegans and vegetarians to go with their meat eating friends. Try the chocolate pecan pie for dessert!

Candle 79 has vegan brunch on the weekend. I am in love with their pastry chef. They have a soy ice cream and sorbet sampler that changes regularly. My favorite is the Lavender soy ice cream. Most delicious thing I have ever eaten in my entire life!

Gobo is owned by the children of the owners of Zen Palate. Unlike Zen, they serve alcohol. My favorite is the Setian Medallions.

Healthy fast food. Owned by Louis Lanza who also owns Josie’s. They have hot air baked fries with Cajun ketchup, Karma ketchup and more!
