Houston’s has several thriving urban shopping areas. Uptown, Midtown Houston and the.Downtown District which encompasses nearly 17-blocks and is home to eight world class performing arts organizations. They provide comfortable seating for more than 12,000 theater goers.

It was awarded the American Institute of Architects’ Honor Award in 1967. More than 400,000 visitors attend over 250 events in the magnificent performance hall annually.
