ONLY in Chicago would the Segway be an acceptable mode of transportation. I don’t think I have to remind you of the ill-fated New York experiment!

Yes, I try to remember that even though I live in this great city, I am still in the Midwest… where it is acceptable to ride Segways around like an idiot.

One time I was walking down State Street in the heat of rush hour and a SEGWAY ran over my pinky toe!! Now I cringe whenever I see one.

Ya know, somehow that doesn’t surprise me. I mean, no one knows how to steer those things. Are they that difficult to ride on? Sorry about your pinky toe!
