Charity. Why on earth would you want to give of your money or of your time? Actually there are many reasons...the logical left-brained know that it's a great tax write-off to donate money or goods, the creative (and giving) right-brained know that giving of your time for service or help of others is a blessing to your soul. This is your guide to give!
Why give?
Give because there is so much of a need for it! You don’t need to stop by Starbucks today…give that latte money to your favorite charity! I’ve listed a couple of main links where you can do research to find a charity that is close to your heart.
You can give money or time or both. Think globally, then think locally ,...is there a senior or handicapped person in your neighborhood that could use a little help with yard work, or a ride to the market; is there a sick person you could bring dinner to, or a needy family that could use some toys or clothes? Oh I know, you don’t have time but you have money…then why not give to a charity that would bring you joy, whether it be for humans or animals or the whole planet. Come on…seriously, you’ll feel good…I promise! If you really don’t, well then you may need professional help.
