Create A More Colorful Workspace

I’m one of those people who loves having the most random items on her desk. I avoid the boring black and gray organizational products by searching for colorful and unique items. This guide includes some of my favorite geeky items that are guaranteed to add character and convenience to your desk and life!
The Butt Station
It might not have the best name, but this quirky piece of office decor is on my must-have list. I love the pencil in the mouth and the roll of tape between his hands. It adds a little color and character to your desk!
For only $20 you can add the butt station to your desk!
Speedy
He’s a tape dispenser. I’ve never had a cool one like this, only the plastic ones that you buy in a four pack at the store. I’m pretty sure it’s quite possibly one of the cutest desk accessories I’ve seen in a long time!
Archibald
I’m a big Post-It user. Any excuse to use more is fine by me. I often misplace my Post-Its. This only causes me to break open a new pack. Before long, I have six different pads lying around my desk. How cute is he?! The name alone make me want it. Just like everything else they also come in different colors.
Dimitri
Dimitri is a CD holder. I have all sorts of software CDs stuffed in a drawer next to my desk. I don’t like keeping the cases because they’re bulky and take up more space. Often times disks come in sleeves than plastic cases anyway. I just thought it was cute to have a little strong man holding up your CDs on your desk. Just like Lucky, Dimitri comes in orange, green and red as well as blue.
Elvis
Another super cute tape dispenser! I really only love it because he looks like he’s hula-hooping!
Most of the office products in this guide can be found on Koziol’s website.
Lucky
I am not a fan of dust, though it does seem to magically accumulate the minute I am finished dusting. It’s a lose-lose battle. I tend to find a lot of it on my monitor and TV screen. Oh! Especially the screen on my laptop. Lucky is an adorable screen cleaner. The pooch has a microfiber tongue that can be used on monitors, TVs and even small mirrors. Plus, the tongue is removable for washing. Love it! Lucky also comes in green, red and orange.
Hamster-Powered Shredder
This gadget not only keeps your hamster busy and warm, but it keeps you entertained. I fear that if I shred half the stuff in my garbage pile my poor little hamster would be drowning in paper!
Fortunately for the hamster, this is not a real product. It is part of an art installation by Tom Ballhatchet.
Winni-Two
I know I am not the only person who eats over their keyboard. I’m often afraid to clean out my keyboard because of all the crumbs that have been mating and having baby crumbs in there. That’s where Winni-Two comes in. This cute keyboard brush just sits on the side and waits for that extra crunchy cookie to crumble as you bite into it. Then he effortlessly sweeps it out of your keyboard.
Curly
This magnetic paperclip holder is so much better than those square ones most offices have. He adds a bit of color to a desk cluttered with work. Plus, he prevents your cats from flinging your paperclips all over the place!
Pink's Commuter Tie
This commuter-friendly tie has a built-in pocket for your ipod nano. I’m not sure why the ipod can’t be kept inside a pocket, but whatever. To each their own!
For only $85 this 100% silk tie could be yours!
