Face it folks, geeks are in. Whether you've admitted it or are still hiding inside the geek closet, this guide is for you - assuming you're in Chicago of course. If you know of any geek-tastic events happening this summer, be sure to include them in your comments!

Geek Prom - June 13

Geeks, nerds, it’s time to rejoice! If you, like many others, didn’t attend your high school prom, now you can! No, it has nothing to do with time travel. You can find out more information about the event as well as purchase tickets on Geek Prom’s website

@realgeeksride

Real Geeks Ride. Two geeks biking across the USA. It’s been dubbed the “Geekiest Ride of 2009.” In an effort to convince people to change their commuting habits, geeks will be riding their bikes to show their support.

If you’re in Chicago on June 11, you can be a part of it! Find out how here

Geek 2 Geek helps geeks find other geeks, and potentially, geek love. When asked why a site made exclusively for geeks is needed, their reply was, “Because geeks are special.” I strongly recommend checking out the Top 10 Geekiest Dates.

Need help with your computer? There's Apple...

I recently had to visit the Genius Bar and I’m so glad I did. Do you know how many hot guys are there?! I mean…they were incredibly helpful and paid no attention to the fact that I had no idea what I was doing – besides checking out future Mr. Jenns…

And then there's the other guys...

The Geek Squad

I’m not a HUGE fan of these guys, but they were helpful when I was (foolishly) buying a PC at Best Buy. There are more Best Buy locations than Apple stores, but that whole “quality vs. quantity” thing pops into my head :)
